Del Senate passes HB 90

I’m grateful that the Senate has passed HB 90, which would allow any candidate for state office in Delaware to pay for childcare costs that come as a result of campaign activity through their campaign funds.

This would allow for more people to run for office and expand the diverse voices we have across our state.

I would also like to thank Rep. Sherae’a “Rae” Moore, who ran bill on the House floor when we passed it earlier this month. She is just one of many who know personally just how important this bill could be for candidates for office.

On to Governor Carney’s desk for his signature!
